I am so excited! I have self-published my Burt the Bunny children's books!
As you know, I tried publishing through print on demand platforms, but they ended up being way too expensive for people to buy! So I learned how to print and bind my own books and now I can get them out at an affordable price! Also, I've learned so much over the last few years and I feel like each book gets better and more professional.
Currently, I'm working on a new Burt the Bunny adventure and I think you'll love it. Carrots and pirates will be involved! I hope to have it completed before summer. Fingers crossed!
Check them out on my ETSY shop!
If you are local, please let me know and I'll hand deliver so you can save on postage! :-)
Thank you for all your support!
I made some fun notebooks featuring Thor comics!
Go to my ETSY store to see them. I think you'll love them.
And Happy New Year!!!
Whew! I've been super busy attending craft fairs with my coloring books and notebooks. I love seeing that the kids are loving my coloring books! I love making them and it makes me so happy to see the kids excited about them too. I'm also glad to see that coloring isn't out of style in this digital age! Nothing can replace real crayons and paper!

Since my cereal box cover journals sold so well, I thought I'd expand and make fun coloring books for younger kids! Who doesn't love Unicorns?
Check it out at my Etsy store!
I've been busy with my new wire binding machine and it is the best!
I created a few Unicorn coloring books for kids and should have them up in my Etsy store in about two days!! They are super cute!
Stay tuned for more information and my Etsy store link.
I'm happy to say that my cereal box cover journals have sold really well so I ordered a new binding machine that uses twin coil wire. I have more fun ideas for creating notebooks and journals which will lay flat. Much easier for doodling and kid books!
I should receive the machine this Friday so stay tuned for more news.
Back in April, my hubby and I took off to California City to enjoy some dirt bike riding in the desert. I had bought a new helmet cam and thought I had it recording but nope! Luckily, my hubby videoed a couple of clips of me just riding by. Although, not super exciting! ha ha
Now that my day job has chilled a bit, we will be heading back out to the desert this summer to do more riding and I this time around, I'll make sure my camera is going!
I attended an incredible conference (Craftcation in Ventura, CA) the first part of April and not to be all "drama" but it was life changing! The beach and ocean waves were a perfect place to relax and think which made me realize I have way too many projects going on and I really need to stick with one...okay, maybe two projects. Isn't hard to to have so many interests and so little time?
As I've mentioned, our kids have grown up and moved out so my husband and I are enjoying more time together and loving our rides in the desert with our dirt bikes so I have decided to devote more time to videoing our adventures! I'll start adding videos to my new YouTube channel as we get out to the desert to ride. Stay tuned!
Of course when you go riding, you must accessorize and I quickly found out there isn't a lot of comfortable t-shirts with dirt bike graphics for women to wear. Yes, I wear a jersey to protect my arms from the sun but who doesn't want a cute graphic t-shirt to wear for the traveling back and forth? I've been playing around with some fun designs which you can check out at TeeSpring. Maybe other women will be interested?
My other creative love that I can't stop is creating art journals with my thermal binding machine. It's just so much fun! Check out my Instagram and Pinterest accounts to see the cereal box cover journals. They've been really popular especially with kids!
In the meantime, I'm putting my children's books on hold and when I retire (next year!) I'll come back to Burt the Bunny's adventures. Illustrating and writing is very time consuming and I just can't do it all especially with a full-time day job!
Please stay tuned! Come back often or visit my other sites to see what's going on!
Thanks for being here and always supporting me.
