Last week I received my "real" book - Rocket Baby and Burt the Bunny's new adventure. I have to give Blurb a shout-out. I'm really impressed with my printed book. The illustrations are very vivid and glossy and the size of the book is perfect for little hands. So far the book has stood the toddler test by my grandson. The pages are a nice "weight" and durable for his not so gentle page turning. He really enjoys the bright colors and loves the bunnies.
Every time I look at my book I'm in disbelief that it's actually printed and in my hands! I'm going to make a few minor changes and then I will upload it for sale. I really hope you and your children find Burt the Bunny's adventure to be fun and I look forward to your thoughts about it.
I did it! I created a "real" book with Blurb.com and my sample book will be shipped soon. I want to see it in person before I sell it online. It looks great on Blurb's previewer so I'm thinking the real book will be amazing. The colors are vivid and bright which will be great for very young readers - infants to about 3 years old.
Check out the screen print of the first two pages!
I have been publishing ebooks but wanted to create a "real" book for those readers who rather have hardbound picture book for their children. I struggled with CreateSpace and found it wasn't working for me and after doing some research, I discovered Blurb. Wow! They have the easiest software to build a book! I am so impressed.
Today I have been making some small format changes to my ebook pages so I can upload the book and get it printed. I hope to have Burt the Bunny's adventure available in either softcover or hardcover book by next week.
