I have realized that traditional animation is kicking my butt so I am changing directions just a bit and will attempt stop motion animation. I have always loved stop motion animation but honestly didn't know much about the process and didn't think it was an option. I have done some research and I'm thinking this is the route for me to go with my series. My other love is ceramics and clay building which will combine well with stop motion character and set building. Win-win!
In the meantime, I have borrowed an older Canon EOS Rebel SL1 camera and have downloaded a free trial of Stop Motion Pro to practice with and if I'm in love with the new idea, I'll build molds of Rocket Roy, Burt the Bunny, and Boris and begin the series!
Thank you everyone for being so patient. I never realized how complicated and time consuming animation is and I have a new found respect for animators everywhere!
